Time for a little self reflection. What are your first memories of music? Do you remember being sung to as a child? Was your house full of music or devoid of it? What about your experience of music at school or pre-school/child care? Was music something you eagerly anticipated or dreaded? How have these early experiences influenced your feelings about music today? Is music a part of your life? If you are already working with children is it an integral component of the experiences and provisions you provide? Why? Why not?
